Adam Wethered, Chairman at Wren Investment Office

Adam Wethered

  • Adam Wethered joined Wren in the summer of 2020 and is Chairman of Wren Investment Office, succeeding Christopher Kemball, who remains a non-executive Director.

    Adam has had a forty-five-year career in law, banking, corporate finance and wealth management in London and New York.

    Adam spent twenty-four years with JP Morgan. During the 1990s, he was CEO of JP Morgan Securities, Co-Head of Corporate Finance Europe, Head of the JP Morgan London Offices Management Committee, Chief Operating Officer Europe and Head of the Private Bank and Asset Management Clients EMEA.

    Adam left JP Morgan in 2000 and co-founded Lord North Street Private Investment Office, one of the earliest Multi Family Offices in London. There he worked with a team which included the subsequent six founders of Wren Investment Office.

    Lord North Street became an award winning business and was sold to Sandaire in 2014, where he became Vice Chairman until 2015.

    Adam co-founded Owl Private Office in 2015, as an advisory business providing strategic and investment advice to wealthy families and their trustees. The business later became a partnership from which Adam retired in March 2020.

    Adam is currently a non- executive director of Project Associates Holdings Limited, a member of the British Academy Development Board, and Chairman of the Garrick Club Investment Committee. Adam invests in and advises a number of entrepreneurial businesses.

    Adam holds B.A. and LL.B degrees in law from Cambridge University. A member of the Inner Temple, he was called to the Bar in 1975 and served as a pupil at 4 Essex Court chambers during 1976.

Michael Parsons, Chief Executive Officer at Wren Investment Office

Michael Parsons

  • Michael Parsons is Chief Executive Officer of Wren Investment Office and is responsible for overseeing the strategy, business development and day to day management of the firm. He also takes responsibility for a number of client relationships and providing clients with strategic advice.

    Prior to the establishment of Wren, Michael worked in the multi-family office sector in London for a number of years. His most recent role was at Sandaire Investment Office where he took a lead role in several client relationships and the firm’s marketing. He was previously at Lord North Street Limited until it was acquired by Sandaire in 2014. At both Sandaire and Lord North Street Michael’s focus was working with and advising large, very wealthy families with complex wealth structures. Before joining Lord North Street in 2008, Michael worked at Dalton Strategic Partnership as an Analyst and Assistant Fund Manager, having graduated with a BA Hons in Art History from the University of London. He is a Non-Executive Director of the Pollen Estate.

Drew McNeil, Head of Client Relationships at Wren Investment Office

Drew McNeil

  • Drew McNeil is Head of Client Relationships at Wren Investment Office. He works with clients to provide advice and oversight with responsibility for all aspects of client service and portfolio management. He is a member of the Investment Committee.

    Prior to his role at Wren Investment Office, Drew was an Executive Director at Sandaire Investment Office in charge of client relationship management. He also served the same role at Lord North Street from 2005 until 2014 when Sandaire acquired Lord North Street. At both these firms Drew had lead responsibility for a large number of client relationships, both families and endowments. Before entering the multi-family office sector, Drew worked for Schroders Private Bank from 2000 to 2004, as a private banker on the international client desk, and ING Barings Private Bank from 1995 to 2000, as a portfolio manager.

    Drew has been a CFA charter holder since 1999, and holds a BSc in Physics from Durham University. He has passed the Adviser Competency Training for social investment.

Eirian Jones, Chief Investment Officer at Wren Investment Office

Eirian Jones

  • Eirian Jones is Chief Investment Officer at Wren Investment Office. Eirian is a member of the Investment Committee, leads the strategic and tactical asset allocation processes and is responsible for the manager research process and for portfolio construction. Eirian was previously a Senior Portfolio Manager and member of the Investment Committee at Sandaire Investment Office. Prior to this role, Eirian was at Lord North Street from 2005 until its acquisition by Sandaire in 2014, most recently as an executive director and head of the London investment team. Eirian has been a CFA Charter holder since 2010 and holds a first class Degree M. Eng. in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London.

    Eirian also volunteers as an Investment Committee member of the CFA UK Investment Committee. In 2018, he was named one of the PAM top 40 under 40.

Philip Newbold, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Compliance at Wren Investment Office

Philip Newbold

  • Philip Newbold is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Compliance at Wren Investment Office. He has responsibility for all operational aspects of the firm, as well as for finance, risk and compliance.

    Prior to joining Wren, Philip spent ten years in private banking and wealth management with Kleinwort Hambros (and formerly Kleinwort Benson). During this time, he has held roles such as Head of Commercial Strategy, Head of Operations Change and Head of Marketing as well as running several regulatory programmes.

    Philip has worked in financial services since 2003 having started his career at HSBC Investment Bank and subsequently in the global markets divisions of Credit Suisse and Royal Bank of Scotland.

    He has a B.A. (Hons) in Business and Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam University.

Edward Tollemache, Client Relationship Director at Wren Investment Office

Edward Tollemache

  • Edward Tollemache is a Client Relationship Director. He looks after a broad range of clients, including large families, charitable endowments, and his role encompasses providing strategic investment advice and business development. Before joining Wren, Edward was a Client Relationship Director at Sandaire Investment Office. He performed a similar role at Lord North Street from 2013 before it was acquired by Sandaire in 2014.

    Edward has worked in the private wealth industry since 2000 having started his career at Merrill Lynch Private Client Group. In 2002, he joined the multi-family office of Fleming Family and Partners where he worked in the client relationship team for 10 years.

    Edward is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute and holds a BSc in Business Management and Marketing from Newcastle University.

Daniel Young, Client Relationship Associate Director at Wren Investment Office

Daniel Young

  • Daniel Young is a Director within the Client Relationship team at Wren Investment Office. He works with clients to provide advice and oversight with responsibility for all aspects of client service and portfolio management.

    Prior to joining the team, Daniel spent 8 and half years as a Senior Associate at Stonehage Fleming, where he was responsible for the management of a number of client investment portfolios. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Business and Management from Aston University and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2018.

Tiwalola Obadeyi, Client Relationship Analyst at Wren Investment Office

Tiwalola Obadeyi

  • Tiwalola Obadeyi is a Client Relationship Analyst. Prior to joining Wren Investment Office, Tiwa graduated from the University of Warwick in 2024 with an Upper Second Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Economics.

    During the course, she spent time at Artemis Investment Management gaining insight into fund management and was Club Captain of the University of Warwick Boat Club. Before university, she attended Cheltenham Ladies College, obtaining 4 A-Levels in Economics, Mathematics, Biology and French.

Luke Heywood-Jones, Investment Analyst at Wren Investment Office

Luke Heywood-Jones

  • Luke Heywood-Jones is an investment analyst. Prior to joining Wren Investment Office, Luke graduated from the University of Bath in 2020 with 1:1 in BSc (Hons) Economics.

    As part of the course, he spent a year at Wellington Management as an Investment Boutiques Intern in London. Before University, he attended Whitgift School in South Croydon, obtaining 4 A-Levels in Economics, Mathematics, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

Poppy Bolton Carter, Investment Analyst at Wren Investment Office

Poppy Bolton Carter

  • Poppy Bolton Carter is an analyst in the Investment team at Wren Investment Office. Prior to joining the team, Poppy graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2022 with 1:1 in MA (Hons) Economics and Politics.

    Whilst at University, she spent two months at Gresham House Asset Management on the New Energy Team and she worked as an analyst for the UK’s first student-led SRI fund, Prosper Social Finance.

James Dalton, Head of Operations at Wren Investment Office

James Dalton

  • James Dalton is Head of Operations at Wren Investment Office. He is responsible for the firm’s operational functions including trading, client reporting, data reconciliation and management of external operational relationships.

    Prior to his role at Wren, James was Head of UK Investment Operations at Aon for their fiduciary management service, overseeing trading for DB pension clients, managing relationships with vendors and custodians and leading the SOC1 audit.

    Before joining Aon in 2017, James was a Senior Operations Manager at Sandaire Investment Office. He also performed the same role at Lord North Street from 2008 until 2014 when Sandaire acquired Lord North Street.

    James has worked in the financial services industry since 2001, having started his career in the risk team at Barclays Private Bank, before moving on to a boutique discretionary investment manager partnered with Bordier et Cie.

    He holds BSc and MSc degrees from the University of Essex.

Savan Shah, Operations Associate at Wren Investment Office

Savan Shah

  • Savan Shah is an Operations Associate, supporting functions including trading, client reporting, data reconciliation.

    Prior to joining, Savan spent three years at ISUL as a portfolio analyst focusing on the Fixed Income space and specifically Emerging Markets and High Yield. Previously he spent a year at Claim Makers, a Tech Insurance Startup, and three years at Valbury Capital, a Multi-Asset brokerage in F&O Risk Operations and aided the Compliance team.

    He attended the University of Nottingham where he studied Finance, Accounting & Management and preceding this went to Merchant Taylors’ School in North-West London.

Vladislava Cusnir, Client Reporting Associate at Wren Investment Office

Vladislava Cusnir

  • Vladislava Cusnir is a Client Reporting Associate. Prior to joining the team, Vladislava was a front / middle officer at Beauclerc, a niche asset-manager, offering a combination of investment management and private-office services. She has worked in multiple accounting and reporting positions at various startups.

    She holds a BSc degree in Finance and Investment Banking from Reading University and the IMC certification.

William Drake, Senior Advisor at Wren Investment Office

William Drake

  • William Drake is a Senior Advisor at Wren.

    William has decades of experience sitting, as he puts it, “on the client’s side of the table”. A graduate of Pembroke College, Cambridge, he was a barrister and US attorney until 1979. He then joined the corporate finance department of Kleinwort Benson followed by 17 years at Granville plc, a leading investment bank in the growth company sector. In 2000 he co-founded, with Adam Wethered, Lord North Street (the award-winning private investment office), building the business up to and through its merger with Sandaire in 2014. He is currently Chairman of RFR, high value residential property experts, which advises private clients, family offices and their professional advisors.

    Amongst other roles, he has advised public and private companies and the entrepreneurs behind them on business strategy, board structure and remuneration. He has been recognised by STEP, Spear’s and other professional associations as one of the leading figures in wealth management. He was a Presiding Judge for the STEP Private Client Awards 2012/13, was a member of the Development Committee of The Prince’s Teaching Institute and is a Director of The Colville Estate Limited.

Robert Mason, Private Equity Consultant at Wren Investment Office

Robert Mason

  • Robert Mason is a Private Equity Consultant at Wren.

    Robert has worked in investment markets for over 37 years. He has been a consultant with leading multi-family offices Lord North Street and then Sandaire from 2007 to 2020. He is also a trustee and advisor for several families and an investor and board member for start-up technology businesses.

    Robert graduated from Oxford after which he spent six years in the British Army, was Equerry to the Prince of Wales and was Adjutant of the Welsh Guards in the Falklands. Robert founded and ran a private equity fund manager investing in growth capital and small to mid-market buyouts in Europe from 1988 – 2006. From 1983-1988 Robert worked for JP Morgan where he was latterly head of the European leveraged transaction group.

Mel Lagomasino, Senior Advisor at Wren Investment Office

Mel Lagomasino

  • Maria Elena (Mel) Lagomasino is CEO and managing partner of WE Family Offices, a global family office serving ultra-high net worth families, and is a Senior Advisor of Wren Investment Office. She is a recognised leader in the wealth management industry, and is a founder of the Institute for the Fiduciary Standard.

    Before founding WE, Mel served as CEO of GenSpring Family Offices, a wealth management firm. Prior to that, she served as chairman and chief executive officer of JP Morgan Private Bank, an institution with more than $300 billion in client assets under supervision. Her career in banking began in 1977 at Citibank. She joined the Chase Manhattan Private Bank in 1983 and was named head of Chase’s worldwide private banking business in 1997. Following the Chase-JP Morgan merger, she became chairman and chief executive officer of JP Morgan Private Bank.

    Mel serves on the boards of The Walt Disney Company, The Coca-Cola Company, and the Americas Society. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

    In August 2015, Mel was named one of the 50 most influential women in Wealth management by Private Asset Management. In 2012, she was named one of the Directorship 100 by the National Association of Corporate Directors and was named by American Banker one of 2012’s Top 25 Women in Finance.

    A graduate of Manhattanville College (B.A.), Mel also earned graduate degrees at Columbia University (M.S.) and Fordham University (M.B.A).

Michael Zeuner, Senior Advisor at Wren Investment Office

Michael Zeuner

  • Michael Zeuner is a director and one of three managing partners of WE Family Offices, and is a Senior Advisor of Wren Investment Office. He oversees the firm’s US business strategy. Michael is a nationally recognized leader in the family office industry having served wealthy families for over 20 years. He is a co-founder of the Institute for the Fiduciary Standard.

    Prior to his role at WE Family Offices he served as senior executive partner of GenSpring Family Offices where he had responsibility for the leadership and management of GenSpring’s network of 10 family offices in the United States. In addition, he was a member of the firm’s Operating Committee.

    Before joining GenSpring, Michael was managing director and global head of Wealth Solutions at JP Morgan Private Bank. As a member of the executive team, he had responsibility for strategic planning, branding, marketing and specialized advisory services (family governance, philanthropy and fine art wealth management) for the worldwide private bank.

    A management consultant by training, Michael led projects in the financial services area for both Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He joined Chase Manhattan in 1995 as vice president at the investment bank, and moved to the private bank in 1997 to head up strategy and marketing worldwide. JP Morgan and Chase merged in January 2002.

    Michael graduated from Brandeis University, (B.A.) and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Christopher Kemball, Non-Executive Director at Wren Investment Office

Christopher Kemball

  • Christopher Kemball is a Non-Executive Director of Wren Investment Office.

    Christopher has had a twenty five year career in investment banking in London and New York with Kleinwort Benson, Dillon Read and Baring Brothers. In 2000, he became a founding partner in Hawkpoint Partners, which purchased the investment banking business of NatWest and became one of the leading independent corporate finance advisers in Europe before being sold to Collins Stewart in 2006.

    Christopher has served on the boards of, or chaired, several public and private equity owned companies, including Berendsen plc, a leading European textile rental and washrooms services business, W.S. Atkins plc and Scott Wilson plc, both international engineering consultancies, and Quayle Munro Limited, a specialist M & A boutique listed on AIM.

    Christopher is currently Chairman of Cambian Group plc and PHS Group Limited. He also serves as a Trustee of the Archdiocese of Westminster.

    Christopher served with the British Army for seven years after graduating, achieving the rank of Major.

    Christopher holds a B.A. Hons. in Law from Cambridge University.

José María Michavila, Non-Executive Director at Wren Investment Office

José María Michavila

  • Founding and Managing Partner of MdF Family Partners; José María Michavila graduated with honours in Law from Universidad Complutense, where he also received a degree in Contemporary History. He also obtained a PhD with honours in Banking Law with a thesis about “The Bank of Spain control in the constitution of financial entities”. He has spent periods of time at Harvard University and the London School of Economics. He received a fellowship from the Japanese Government due to having one of the best curriculums in the European Union, he also was the recipient of two other fellowships from the French Government and the United States Government. In 1998 he sat the public examinations for the “Conseille dÉtat”, which he entered at the top of his class, joining the Treasury Department. Afterwards he obtained through public competition the position of Associate Professor of Administrative Law at the Universidad Complutense.

    José María has practiced as a lawyer for his own firm, and as an expertise in Banking and Finance Law, from 1984 to 1991, and from 2004 until today. With 29 years he became the General Secretary to the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, position that he held until 1993 when he joined as Secretary of Studies and Programs to the Partido Popular. He was one of the founders of the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB) and of the Real Colegio Juan Carlos I at Harvard University. José María was a Deputy in Parliament between 1993 and 2009 and a member of the National Executive Committee for the Partido Popular, first as Secretary of State for the Relations with Parliament (working directly with the President of the Government), then as the Secretary of State of Justice, and finally working as a Minister of Justice.

    Born into an entrepreneurial family, he is a member of the Real Academia de Legislación y Jurisprudencia, he is the author of numerous professional publications and is used to participate writing articles in national press. He is Founding Member of the law firm MA Abogados and an International Trustee of the Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation and a Board Member of the Norman Foster Foundation. José María is the General Secretary to the Fundación Mencia (www.fundacionmencia.org), and of the Fundación Contemplare (www.asociacioncontemplare.org). He is also member of the Advisory Board of RCC Executive Program, held at Harvard, where he has given an annual lecture since 2016.

Maite Lacasa, Non-Executive Director at Wren Investment Office

Maite Lacasa

  • Managing Partner of MdF Family Partners, Maite Lacasa joined the company since its foundation in 2009 and is responsible for illiquid investments, private equity and real estate.

    Before joining MdF, Maite worked for ICG (Intermediate Capital Group), European leader in subordinated debt operations and co-investments of capital with private equity clients.

    Previously, she worked at Bank of Scotland, participating in leveraged private equity (LBO) operations for private equity groups.

    Maite began her professional career at Deloitte & Touche in the Corporate Finance area where she carried out various debt and equity origination transactions.

    Maite holds a degree in International Business Administration and Management from Icade (E4) and Lancaster University.
