Wren Investment Office appoints Edward Tollemache

London, 2 October 2017. Wren Investment Office (Wren), the investment office for families and individuals with large fortunes, has appointed Edward Tollemache as Client Relationship Director. Wren, with its experienced team of 5 wealth managers, was launched only a year ago and is backed and part-owned by MdF Family Partners in Spain (MdF) and WE Family Offices in the USA (WE). Tollemache joins from Sandaire Investment Office where he was a Client Relationship Director.

Wren’s offering to individuals and families extends also to substantial endowment funds and charities, all of which require long-term and multi-generational investment advice and management with top quality client servicing.

Since its formation last year Wren has attracted a number of new clients, including an Oxbridge College, with total client assets under management and advice now approaching £500m. The firm moved to new enlarged premises in Buckingham Palace Road in June this year to accommodate early expansion of its operations.

Edward Tollemache is the sixth colleague to have joined Wren from the previous team which had worked together at Lord North Street before it was acquired by Sandaire three years ago. At its core, this reunited the former investment committee of Lord North Street: Daniel de Fernando of MdF, CIO of Wren, Drew McNeil and Eirian Jones. Through Wren’s alliance with MdF and WE, its clients are able to benefit from a global investment perspective with local implementation.

Commenting on the appointment, Michael Parsons, CEO of Wren, said:

“This has been an exciting first year for Wren Investment Office. We are delighted that so many clients have put their trust in us and that we are well ahead in our plans for the business.

“Having worked with Edward previously, we know he is a great addition to our highly talented team. With the tremendous support of our partners and backers at MdF Family Partners and WE Family Offices, we are in a unique position to serve clients with increasingly international needs.”
